The kids and I were so excited when we saw the first trailer for the new Sony Pictures Animation's "The Star" movie. It was a sigh of relief to see a major motion picture working with a religious storyline. We knew it would be a new favorite for everyone in our household. The behind the scenes footage made us love the songs like "Life is Good" & just makes us more eager to get to the theaters.
The movie is full of amazing and funny characters cast by some of the best actors & actresses out there. Like Deborah, Felix & Cyrus the three wise camels played by Tyler Perry, Tracey Morgan and Yes... Oprah Winfrey! I really like how well the characters are portrayed and each of them so unique. You can meet them all here. You can also let your kids get to know them by letting this fun interactive coloring book found here. This seems to help my younger ones connect with them when they go to a theater and you need them to sit still. You can also find the soundtrack here to get you ready to go!
The story is following Bo, A small but brave little donkey whos in search of something more. He finally gets to go the adventure of a lifetime and the animals help to warn Mary & Joseph that trouble may be lurking. This tells the story of Birth of Jesus & The first Christmas like no other.
